In the 3rd line support team for the SOPHIS – RISQUE (DNSO) package, we are looking for the replacement of a System Engineer which fits the description below:

Objective:

• The support role encompasses the following daily activities;
• Ensuring daily Oracle back-ups are uploaded into Sophis databases
• Ensuring the availability of Dev & Test environments
• Configuring Dev & Test environments
• Out of hours 3rd line Support.
• Support for the productions issues
• Enhancing scripts to provide better reporting
• Investigating into DB perfornamce
• Ensuring that service level SLAs are adhered to

Knowledge:

• Required level and content of education
  • University graduate.

  • Good written skills in English, fast learner, good communicator,
  • honest, diligent and flexible working attitude, analytical, reliable,
  • Good team player, must be able to work under pressure in a professional manner.
  • Initiative taking skills
• Business experience required
  • About 5 years of professional experience
  • Financial Systems expertise
• Technical experience required
  • 2 years Oracle 10
  • 2 years Unix Environment (any flavor)
  • 1 year Shell scripting experience (Korn shell)
  • 1 year Windows batch files
  • 2 years Banking environment experience
  • 3 Years Support Experience
  • SVN, Other RDMS data bases (SQL, DB2, Sybase) Advanced Excel skills, Strong in MS Office applications
• Functional experience required
  • Any experience in support third party Financial applications.

Language:

Sound knowledge of English and French
