The IS .NET development shop develops solutions mainly for Corporate Functions business lines (Risk, Compliance, Facility, Communications, HR, IT, …). The entity is also working as a “development shop”, using his competences to deliver solutions to other business lines (with prior agreement of the corresponding IS pillar).

“IS .NET Development Shop” is focused on developing cross-border solutions with Microsoft technology (.NET, …) : this includes :

• gathering requirements
• choice of the solution (approach and product/package selection, …)
• architecture and design of the solution
• implementation
• deployment
• support

in close collaboration with the business representatives and with the involved IT cells.

Objective:

You will be a member of a dynamic team of IST professionals, in order to develop, implement, deploy and maintain IT solutions according to high level quality standards with state-of-the-art technologies. This includes

• Make the prototype and implement the definitive solution in Microsoft .NET (C#, Silverlight and ASP.NET)
• Participate in the design of the solution
• Maintain the solution
• Prepare the deployment of the solution
• 3rd line support for the solutions developed by the team
• Active contribution to the functional and technical discussions with all involved parties (business and IT teams)

You will work on several project(s) in parallel, while keeping a global view on a diversity of topics and activities (including from other people in your own team or other teams). You are relatively autonomous while working in close collaboration with the project leaders and the other programmers in the team.

  • At least 5 years of practical experience in IST with Microsoft .NET in C#.
  • Good knowledge of Windows and web development techniques ( OO, software architecture on distributed systems, webservices, Windows Services, ….), Rich Internet Applications, Service Oriented Architectures, Object Relational Mapping (ORM), Entity-Framework,
  • Experience with distributed systems : Windows, mainframe, internet, intranet, application servers, batch servers (Ctrl M), middleware (IBM MQSeries, MSMQ, …), …
  • Good knowledge of distributed development tools :
  • Thorough knowledge: .NET Framework, C#, Silverlight, ASP.NET
  • Good knowledge of:WCF,WPF, XML,, HTML, Javascript,,…
  • Database knowledge (mainly MS SQLServer, Oracle, SQL, stored procedures and triggers,…)
  • Server products: transaction servers, Citrix Terminal Servers,… Preferable: · Case tools and analysis techniques: UML, use cases, Rational tools, … and/or
  • Microsoft TFS (Team Foundation Server)
• Functional experience required

Language:

Good working knowledge of EN, FR and NL (understanding all 3 and speaking 2 of them).
