Description:

In the context of separation between a Bank in Belgium and a Bank in Netherlands and in the context of Integration of a Bank in Belgium , different projects will be started in 2010 in the Business Intelligence team of Functions IT (working for all business lines of the bank).

We are actively searching for 3 mainframe analysts-developers to participate on those projects. Their mission will consist in the setup of new ETL flows as well as maintaining existing flows + testing those changes. Where needed, assistance in the setup/modifications at the level of the BO universes linked to the ETL flows would be helpful as well.

This mainframe analyst-developer will have to demonstrate a specific profile described below:

Objective:

• assist in the technical analysis and development, testing and deployment of the ETL flows, as part of the team
• technical design (assist in functional design once context known) - good documentation
• implementation
• thorough testing + test documentation
• follow up User tests and defect handling
• preparing release deployment + follow up
• possibly : maintenance / setup of BO universes for end-users
• impact analysis of changes in existing chains
• good cooperation with functional analyst and progress reporting to Project Leader in charge
• good coaching and knowledge/skills transfer in the team

• Business experience required
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in banking
• Technical experience required
  • ability to transfer specifications or business requirements in a technical analysis and in a mainframe development
  • More than 5 years of professional experience in Cobol development on Mainframe MVS
  • sound experience with DB2 and IMS databases JCL / Control-M / Endevor / TSO/ISPF / IMS
  • ability to participate to unit and system tests.
  • Mainframe,JCL,COBOL,DB/2, MS OFFICE,
  • ETI – Extract (BI ETL tool generating Cobol) Quality Center
  • BO V6.5 and/or BO XI experience in Universe building
• Functional experience required
  • Knowledge in Financial Banking world Past experiences within Fortis is a real added value.

Language:

Sound knowledge of Dutch and French ; good knowledge of English
