In the context of Integration of some companies in belgium, different projects will be started in 2010 in the Business Intelligence team of Functions IT (working for all business lines of the bank).

We are actively searching for 2 experienced Powercenter ETL developers.

These experienced Powercenter developers will have to demonstrate a specific profile described below:

Objective:

• assist in the technical analysis and development, testing and deployment of the ETL flows, as part of the team
• technical design (assist in functional analysis if context known)
• implementation
• thorough testing
• possibly performance tuning if required
• development necessary UNIX scripts
• preparing release deployment + follow up
• good documentation
• good progress reporting to Project Leader in charge and Team Leader (estimation workload etc)
• good coaching and knowledge transfer to other developers

Knowledge:

• Required level and content of education
  • Master of bachelor in Informatics and more than 5 years of experience in Data warehousing and reporting context

• Business experience required
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in banking industry .
  • Products in domestic markets, derivatives ; GL data ; …)
• Technical experience required
  • 4-5 years of professional experience in Powercenter ETL development (version 8.6.1)
  • Expertise in DWH and ETL building
  • Sound knowledge of and experience in ORACLE
  • v10 and UNIX/Unix scripting Structured approach
  • Control-M knowledge (scheduling) and Harvest knowledge (deployment)
• Functional experience required
  • Knowledge in context liquidity management is a plus

Language:

Sound knowledge of English and Dutch or French.
