Description:

The service IS OPS Customer Core Systems & Ficus has several domains:

• The Belgian customer referential
• The Cross Border customer referential
• The Customer related referentials like Estates & Litigations

We work in a mainframe environment, with a central position in the bank systems.

Some examples of running and upcoming projects :

• Operational maintenance of our existing customer referential
• CMS (Card Management System): new system for debit- and credit cards, probably target for the BNPP Group.
• Deffin: Automation of inquiries from the federal judicial police
• CDM BE phase 1b (Customer Data Management): alignment of the management of our branches for all the legal obligations and internal guidelines for risk management
• Rapprochement’ for the BNP Paribas integration: creating the connection with RMPM referential (BNP) for Risk and GMK (Global Markets), creating the target architecture for the Group referentials, supporting the French applications that will run on Belgian systems.
• P@per: removal of the A6-format of bank statements

Objective:

The objective of the job is:

• To work in a Prince2 development environment, creating product descriptions and functional documents to translate high level and detailed requirements of the business users into a structured text, identifying clearly and unambiguously the scope and the functionalities involved.
• Communicate those descriptions to the developers in charge of building/updating the associated software objects.
• Participate into the test plan creation / validation by supporting the test managers
• Support the developers when functional questions arise during the build of the associated software
• Support the transfer of the tested software objects to the integration / maintenance team on the functional aspects
• Report to your project leader on the progress of your activities, on the risks, issues identified and on the actions undertaken to mitigate them

Required knowledge and experience

Functional scope

• Translate business user requirements related to the customer referential system into descriptions usable by technical analysts / developers
• Take an active part in the different projects impacting the referential systems in Belgium that are related to the BNPP rapprochement of the information systems of the banks, keeping in mind architectural directives coming out of the group organization and out of the local architecture boards
• Experience in the domain of clients / third parties information systems management is a definite plus point for this mission.
• Awareness of legal and compliance regulations regarding the management of private information related to private persons and / or legal entities will also be highly appreciated (bank secrecy& private life regulations)

Required level of knowledge:

• Have an analytical mind
• Listening skills to understand users needs
• Negotiation capacity to keep (the feet on the ground)
• Writing skills to deliver clear functional documents

Appreciated additional knowledge / competences:

• PRINCE2 project management concepts
• MS Office and Quality Centre environments
• Experience in the banking sector
• Even if no specific technical skills are required, knowledge of the mainframe environment development world and of it’s constrains would be welcome to ensure a realistic collaboration with the test team.

French reading and speaking skills
