Packages Functional Architect

Brussels, near North and Central Station.

Description:

An Insurance is actively searching a Packages Functional Architect to join in the General Systems & Expertise Centers architecture team of IS AG Insurance. The architecture team sets out, follows up the architecture guidelines of all starting big projects, and assures the quality of the existing and new patrimony of applications and packages.

The recent centralization of all the packages knowledge in the General Systems team obliges us to enforce the architecture team with a functional architect.

The Packages Development Functional Architect deals on a daily basis with senior management, peers and junior staff, both internally and externally, with business and professional skills in Information Technology.

Objective:

Packages Integration projects:

• You have the ability to analyze, define and propose solution in a multiple packages context, based on business , functional and technical requirements
• You realize the functional architecture analysis and estimate the effort to implement packages that support our business
• You define the “how to manage” by proposing & evaluating alternatives for project implementation, phases and dependencies with other projects.
• You explain, coach & follow up the integration team during the projects
• You monitor/control the functional design of your projects. You validate the deviation needed and you control that they are documented.
• You assure the quality of the deliverables
• You collaborate with other Architects in your division or coming from other divisions and you share your solutions with them.

Documentation & standards

• You document and you maintain the existing documentation of your domains.
• You respect AG Insurance architectural standards.
• You define best practices and patterns to apply in your domain.
• You share your experiences with other architects in order to improve the quality of the deliverables and the AG Insurance standards.

  • Human Resources Management (HR)

  • Min 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Deep knowledge and experience of architecture: architecture methodologies, development guidelines,

Language:

Written and spoken knowledge of French, Dutch and English
