Description:

The companys Payments’ department (part of Operations) has implemented a common infrastructure and operations for SEPA Credit Transfers – in production since January 2008 – and for handling SEPA Direct Debits – in production as of November 2009.

The companys Payments’ department has implemented as well an infrastructure and operations for handling international (non-SEPA) electronic payments and has put in place an infrastructure for handling customer support requests.

We are actively searching a Functional Analyst to support the ‘business requirements’ team (functional team). The Functional Analyst will have to demonstrate a specific profile described below.

Objective:

• Complete the Business Requirements of the SEPA Credit Transfers (SCT) application
• Perform a ‘reverse engineering’ on the Business Requirements of SCT: update the documentation by integrating all approved and implemented Change Requests
• Complete the Process Notes of the SCT application

Knowledge:

• Required level and content of education
  • University graduate or Graduate.

  • communicative (within team and with IT department & other partners)
  • knowledge of English is a must
  • flexibility (in peak periods extra efforts may be required; willingness to work hard)

• Business experience required
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in banking, project environment
• Technical experience required
  • affinity with IT systems and processes
  • ability to work with IT department to transfer & explain specifications to developers
  • experience with a banking package is a plus
• Functional experience required
  • Expertise in writing clear business requirements
  • Expertise in functional design
  • Experience in test preparation & execution, roll-out support (V-model)
  • Experience with defects and incident management
  • Experience with change requests management
  • Expertise in technical design

Language:

Sound knowledge of English and French and/or Dutch is required (spoken & written).

Duration:

until 30/06/2010 with possible extension.
